About the event

Join  Mid-Michigan ARMA and colleagues to discuss cemetery and burial  records. Loretta Stanaway and Jennie Russell from the Friends of  Lansing’s Historic Cemeteries (FOLHC) will discuss records cemeteries  use to document a person’s death and burial. Learn how these permanent  records are being used by genealogists in family research and the upkeep  and care of the cemetery. At 5:00, join us at Mt. Hope Cemetery as Loretta and Jennie give a walking tour  entitled, “Lansing’s Leading Legendaries,” highlighting markers and  monuments related to the more famous and influential people of Lansing.

Registration is limited and facemasks are required for this live event.
