About the event
With so many other priorities in our businesses, disposing of records is sometimes hard to find resources for. And then, how do you ensure that your process is sound and legally defensible? It's difficult to fight common misconceptions about disposal too. The decreasing cost of storage still doesn't keep up with the explosion of data volume. The risks and costs of keeping things too long are real issues. So, where do we start? This session will go over the value and facets of a sound disposal strategy. We will also look at a documented disposition process and discuss how it was developed, and what can be done at each step of the process to ensure accuracy and accountability.
